When I got my first breakthrough out of nowhere…

It was the year 2019. I had only 3000 Rs. in my bank account. I lived in a guest room at my dad’s place. I always believed I have more to give to this world than paying bills and hanging out with my friends on weekends. Leaving the 9–5 comfortable lifestyle was my decision, not my dad’s. It was tough for him to see his son become jobless and burn midnight oil alone at an age when his friends’ children were getting settled. I asked him for 3 months’ time. I was sure I could make it happen at that time. I had a great mentor, a supportive team, a practical business model. Everything essential to get that first breakthrough. But I missed one big element for change, my mindset. You can’t drive business with an employee mindset, can you?

Three months passed by in a flash with not even a single sale. I had to leave my dad’s place and move to Bengaluru. I thought I will give one more month before going back to my day job and keep working on my consulting business as a side hustle. Deep down I knew it was not possible. I know people who manage their business with their job. But I couldn’t switch my mental thermostat daily doing job and business together.

I had already exhausted all my resources, lent money from people I never thought will seek financial support from. I had a debt of over 7 Lakh Rs. by the time I thought of going to my job life again. I was sitting in my room gazing at Buddha’s wall sticker thinking what did I miss. Did I make a hasty decision after getting bored from my 9–5 or I got lured by shiny objects out there in the market without analyzing what it takes to become a successful entrepreneur; only focusing on life after achieving that big success. We all start doubting ourselves when things go bad. And it was the worst moment in my life. At that time, I could only think what my dad’s friend would say to him after knowing I quit. I told them all about my great business model and how it will impact the info-marketing space. Moreover, I couldn’t have the balls to stand the disappointment in my dad’s eye. I decided no matter the odds, I will not quit. I Knew entrepreneurs who were in worse condition than me and still making it big, beating all the odds. I was just getting started.

At 5 am in the morning I heard my phone beep. I couldn’t believe my eyes after seeing $ 114.82 being credited into my account. The system worked. I created an affiliate sales funnel 3 months ago that paid me that morning. When I figured out the source of that transaction, I understood the game and what I was doing wrong. I remodeled my entire affiliate training sales funnel and started growing my community organically. In no time I started getting other consulting assignments as well along with my info-marketing sales business. Now I am on a mission to help 100,000 small business owners to grow their business using stunning sales funnels.

In business, it’s all about sticking to that one idea, one system that you truly believe in. Things will go up and down but as long as you nurture your tribe with service motive, you will get success in return. Way more success than you imagined.
