The Moment When I Was Reborn…Gratitude Note To My Parents.

I had an amazing childhood growing up. Although I come from a middle-class Hindu Brahmin family from the east part of Uttar Pradesh, my parents provided me with all possible necessities of life that a child can expect in a joint family of eleven.

Sometimes in doing so, they had to sacrifice their own desires but they ensured my demands were met as well as I could have. I had good food on my table, comfortable clothes around my body, and an apartment that I could call home.

They always kept my wishes before their desires. I never understood that while growing up. But now I realize how grateful I am to have such amazing parents who stood beside me and taught me to take responsibility for my own actions. They gave me enough space whenever I needed to explore my potential and realize my dreams. Sometimes, they were tough on me. But when I look back, I only recall they did what they believed is best for me.

I still remember how uncomfortable I made my parents when I decided to quit my job in 2019 in order to pursue my entrepreneurship journey. I understand how difficult it would have been for them to allow me to chase my dreams. Being a first-generation entrepreneur of a family isn’t that luxurious as it sounds. But they stood by my side and extended their support wherever they could.

I am thankful to my parents to give me birth twice. One when I was a newborn and the other when I found my mission and became an entrepreneur. I tribute my success so far to my parents.

In life, we get so caught while focusing what’s the next step to the glory that we sometimes miss what already we have achieved in the process and the people who made it possible.

I am grateful to have an amazing parent one can ever imagine.
